DAY 2
Bordeaux

- Dinner at a *Michelin Rest.
> After breakfast at the hotel we get ready for an excursion along the Route des Châteaux in one of the major Bordeaux wine producing regions, the Médoc region, home of several of the “top ten” châteaux of France and the world (Margaux, Rothschild, Latour…).
> Morning wine-tasting tour of one or two different châteaux, followed by lunch in a restaurant serving typical regional dishes or in one of the châteaux visited. Lunch will be followed by a stroll in the area around the restaurant; perhaps along the promenade in Pauillac or visiting a traditional neighborhood there.
> Next, we will continue along the beautiful Châteaux Route and stop at some of the most famous and historic wineries in the region to do a tour and wine-tasting. Mid-afternoon we will return to Bordeaux, where we will stop at the hotel for a brief rest.
> At about 8 p.m. the bus will come to take us to a Michelin Guide award-winning restaurant considered one of the city’s temples of gastronomy, where the chef will prepare a tasting menu based on seasonal ingredients. Return to the hotel.
