> We begin the day with a free morning for everyone to enjoy however they see fit. These are some of the activities available in Biarritz:
Golf: There is a wonderful 18-hole golf course next to the hotel, constructed in 1888. It is the second-oldest golf course in France.
Spa: The hotel runs a thalassotherapy center 300 meters from the hotel itself, with a shuttle service for clients. It offers a long list of health and beauty treatments.
Walking and shopping: For those who are not interested in golf or the spa, you may wish to take a lovely seafront walk
to the Rocher de la Vierge (“Virgin’s Rock”) and the aquarium, with beautiful views of the southern coast and the city. Another possibility is a walk through the city center, with its great variety of chic shops.
> At approximately midday we will check out of the hotel and travel on the coastal road south, toward the Spanish part of the Basque Country. Along the way we’ll pass Getary, a charming village where the singer Madonna spent several days for two summers. We will stop to eat at a well-known restaurant.
