Laguardia Bilbao

We will have lunch at the winery itself. The avant-garde design of the restaurant is a complete contrast to the menu, which features typical regional dishes made with local products.

As a farewell to the Rioja wine region, what could be better than a visit to the Wine Culture Museum, recognized as one of the best of its kind in the world (or even the best) by the UNESCO. It includes the complete history of wine from

A to Z on 4 underground levels within the Dinastía Vivanco winery. Among the rare objects on display, the museum is home to the largest corkscrew collection in the world; it has over 3,000 different corkscrews from around the globe.

The visit to the museum will serve as a summary and conclusion to the past 10 days of travel through the world and culture of wine.

We leave the museum and

begin the trip back toward the coast and toward the end of this tour through the regions of Aquitaine and the Basque Country. We will go to Urdaibai, named a Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1984, where we will stay in a hotel that was once the residence built by Napoleon III for his wife, Eugenia de Montijo.

Dinner at the hotel.
