to the Rioja region takes us through lovely landscapes that evolve from the more mountainous area near the coast to the flatter, more gently rounded terrain of the Upper Rioja vineyards. Specifically, we will be going to the Rioja Alavesa (the part of the Rioja wine region that lies in the province of Álava), home of the most famous wineries that we want to visit.
Our operations base will be in the walled, medieval city of Laguardia / Biasteri, which is equidistant from all the destinations included in our itinerary.
